Wedding Cakes

Recently it’s making up the tradition of wedding cake as a baking work of art. It was common for the bride and groom in early days to cut a false cake that waiters took to the kitchen to return with a completely different cake ready to serve. This event allowed to show off at the launch of the first to make it very nice in the photos but let the good taste to the second cake.

I recognize that this type of aesthetics outstrips me a bit, when I visit one of these websites and look at a cake and another, after a while I can’t face anymore, but if you are able to contextualize what you are seeing with your wedding, you will get some ideas for certain. Perhaps you will be like me,all this inspires me a very appealing feeling: love / hate…and which is the better special occasion than your wedding to choose a work of art like this and cut it into pieces?

Here we have two companies that are engaged in the pastry kitchen, Lolita Bakery in Barcelona and L’Exquisiteria in Girona, Carrer Cort Reial. They make all their products with natural ingredients and no additives, and in addition to wedding cakes you can also find many suggestive ideas such as personalized cookies as a memento for guests, cupcakes for a sweet table … what hoot!
